Pictures of Hundreds of Palestinian children
peacefully demonstrating in Beitlehm against the wall.
Dear friends,
Palestine
Children's Welfare Fund is pleased to announce that it
sponsored an Eid and Christmas party for the children in
Bethlehem during the past week. Hundreds of children
attended a balloon party during which the children
held signs in nine different languages demanding the
end of the illegal Israeli occupation and the
dismantling of the apartheid wall. The children received
gifts paid for by some of our generous donors and
volunteers and walked the streets of Bethlehem
demanding the end of the occupation and the freedom to
go visit their relatives in other Palestinian towns.
Muslim and Christian children
carried the signs and the balloons through the streets
of Bethlehem and then released the signs and the
balloons with the colors of the Palestinian flags, hoping
that a world deaf to their cries might see the signs
and read them. Also, the children carried signs to
thank the various churches around the United States
that supported them during the Christmas holidays and held
events to educate their members on the plight of the
children of Palestine and Bethlehem in particular.
The languages of the signs
are spoken by more than 4 billion people, and the
children of Bethlehem hope that at least one percent of
these people might see their pleas.
Please click on the link below and forward it to
your friends and colleagues and ask them to forward it
to their friends anywhere they live and encourage
them to support the children of Palestine and the town of
Bethlehem.

This wall has to come down and the
occupation must come to an end. Let the children go to
their homes in Palestine.

If you wish to help us work for the
children and with the people of Bethlehem and
Palestine, please feel free to contact us, so we can
provide you with educational material to distribute in your
community.
Thanks for your patience and support
Salamat
